Student Welfare and Academic Support
Sun Pacific College provides the following services for students:
- A 24-hour phone emergency support service is available to all students.
- On arrival assistance (eg orientation to Cairns, information about phone card or mobile phone purchase, public transport timetables, opening a bank account)
- Assistance with visa applications or extensions.
- Tour booking service.
- Tips for finding employment (for working holiday or student visa students)
- During office hours students can meet at any time with Sun Pacific College staff to discuss general matters.
- A private meeting can be booked with the Student Counsellor or a Bilingual staff person.
- The Director of Studies is also available to students for academic counselling.
