- Sun Pacific College regularly inspects host family’s homes.
- Family selection is based on the level of care and hospitality that the family displays to the student. Other considerations are the safety of the area, the proximity to public transport services, house security and general cleanliness.
- Family members’ occupations, hobbies and interests are also considered for matching to the student’s interests.
- All families must have a compulsory government check to apply for a Positive Notice for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
